3-D Works
I use an assortment of materials: canvas, paper, shoes, string, clay, and found objects (stones, driftwood, feathers, etc.). in works such as "Gotta Go", an initial conception guided the search for materials to be used in this multi-canvas, sculptural-painting. In other works, such as "Flying Fish", the found driftwood itself suggested the forms it might artfully be guided to take by whittling, burnishing, and the addition of a feather.
